Specification
- HiGlo strips are made of filter paper.
- Each sterile strip is impregnated with highly pure 0.5 mg of Fluorexon Disodium salt and steralized by EO.
- HiGlo Strips are the most commonly used diagnostic strips. They are used in assessments of tear film break-up time in contact lens wearers and non-contact lens wearers.
For optimal results
- Patients should blink several times after application.
- Moisten the tip of the strip (the side with Fluorescein Disodium) with 1 to 2 drops of sterile water or sterile ophthalmic solution. Alternatively, tear fluid from the lower fornix may be used while the patient looks up.
- Stroke the moistened tip along the Bulbar Conjunctiva.

- Each strip includes 1.5mg Rose Bengal.
- Each pouch contains 1 strip.
- Available in packing of 100 pouches per box.
